In 2013, Jason accepted an Assistant Principal position at Vestavia Hills Elementary Cahaba Heights and served in this role for eight years.
Jason and his wife, Michelle, have been married for 22 years and have two children, Ethan and Emmelyne. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, reading, being outdoors, and riding horses. He is also a certified therapeutic riding instructor and volunteers weekly, at a local horse barn, to provide horse riding lessons to both children and adults with various needs.
