Dr. Jason Bostic

Jason Bostic is one of three Assistant Principals at Louis Pizitz Middle School.  He is grateful to have the opportunity to learn, work, and serve the students, parents, faculty, and stakeholders of this school.

In 2001, Jason accepted his first teaching position, in Indianapolis, Indiana, as a fourth grade teacher.  After teaching fourth grade for six years, he and his family moved to Montgomery, Alabama.  There, he accepted a third grade teaching position, at Saint James School, and later moved on to teach technology for Pre-K3 through 5th grade students.  During his last two years, at Saint James School, he became the 21st Century Learning Coordinator and provided professional development for the K-12 faculty.  In 2013, Jason accepted an Assistant Principal position at Vestavia Hills Elementary Cahaba Heights and served in this role for eight years.

Jason and his wife, Michelle, have been married for 22
years and have two children, Ethan and Emmelyne.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, reading, being outdoors, and riding horses.  He is also a certified therapeutic riding instructor and volunteers weekly, at a local horse barn, to provide horse riding lessons to both children and adults with various needs.
