East's 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Meg Walker.  

Mrs. Walker typifies the teacher that every student, parent, colleague, and principal wants in our classrooms.  She is compassionate with her students, always expressing confidence that each of her students will achieve great things.  She is positive even in the face of difficulty, communicating in a way that inspires confidence.  She is truly a master teacher, with a structured classroom that is cutting edge, engaging, and relational.
