East's 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year is Ms. Kristen Kovarik.  

Ms. Kovarik is an exceptional education teacher at our school, and she is as diligent as anyone in ensuring that all of the needs of her students are met.  Ms. Kovarik also has such an incredible depth of knowledge related to teaching and especially about the exceptional education process.   We love Ms. Kovarik.  She shows incredible support of students, has an outstanding sense of humor, and is such a caring colleague.  Well deserved, Kristen!
