July 11, 2022 — Vestavia Hills City Schools is changing its website and email addresses to a new, shorter domain name.

Beginning this week, the school system’s website will be located at vhcs.us. Email addresses for faculty and staff changed to vhcs.us last week.

Schools are updating their staff directory pages to reflect the new email address endings. Only the domain name of employee email addresses is changing. For example, a teacher or staff member whose email address was previously johndoe@www.vhcs.us is now johndoe@vhcs.us. 

Since VHCS first launched a website in the year 2000, its website URL has been www.vhcs.us. Web pages and email addresses with this domain name will continue to work for a short period of time.
