Rebels Helping Rebels, a grace fund dedicated to Vestavia Hills students from kindergarten through 12th grade, focuses on covering school-related fees and activities to ensure cost is never a barrier to participation or access to necessary supplies. Over the past four years, Rebels Helping Rebels has granted over 150 financial requests, totaling more than $20,000 in donations. This program has funded critical items such as graduation caps and gowns, theater and band supplies, AP fees, yearbook teams, and even robotics and club fees. The program prioritizes essential costs, and students receiving assistance are encouraged to engage in their school’s ongoing fundraising activities. Donations can be made anonymously, and support requests are handled with care and confidentiality.

Neighborhood Bridges connects the broader Vestavia Hills community with our schools to address a wide range of essential needs for children and families such as winter clothing, bill assistance, and more. School counselors anonymously post needs on the Neighborhood Bridges website, and community members can help by making donations which are delivered directly to schools or through volunteers.
